Hi! I am Leah Verwohlt, a co-founder of this program. I have always been passionate about mental health and volunteering to help people. In my free time I have interned in legal aid, built my own website about mental health careers, been a part of MUN, Debate, DECA, and lacrosse. I have been stumped on how to help people during this pandemic, and decided this would be a great idea when it popped in my head. I manage the social media, such as our Instagram (@writingsofwarmth), our website, our applications, and our email (writingsofwarmth@gmail.com). I can't wait to see what this becomes!
Hi! I am Joey Scalogna and I am a co-founder of Writings of Warmth. I am happy to be a part of the organization. I am a junior in high school. In my free time I have started up my own business (Goods2Go), worked at a computer shop, done DECA, played Football, and played Lacrosse. I heard about this possible organization through Leah and immediately wanted to be a part of it. I am passionate about finance and business, therefore I wanted to be involved. I manage the addresses that are given out, along with updates, the financial aspects, etc. Glad to be a part in helping the community.
